Supporting safety, wellbeing and social connection for older people living in Drogheda and the surrounding district.
We contributed funding to Drogheda Support 4 Older People to help deliver practical, day‑to‑day supports for older members of the community. The organisation provides assistance that helps people remain safe, socially connected and supported to live independently for longer.
Social isolation and inequality remain real challenges for older people, particularly those living alone or with limited access to services. Drogheda Support 4 Older People plays a vital role in addressing this at a local level, with a strong focus on dignity, inclusion and community connection.
This project supports SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by helping to ensure older people have equal access to support, participation and community life.
We were pleased to support a grassroots organisation making a meaningful difference through practical action and human connection, right at the heart of the community.
